Where Will Vivaldi Be In 3 Years

First time here. Saw the news about ex-CEO of Opera launching this new community site to replace Opera Community. I really don’t see the point of creating a new social network/community.

Maybe I am just so into Google+ and Facebook.

Most people are using free blog platform, Instagram, Pinterest to communicate with their own crowd. So I am really not sure where Vivaldi will go from here.

Good luck to them.

  1. I have to admit that you’ve made a reasonable observation. I think there’s a place for Vivaldi, given the fact that many former MyOpera members have expressed their distaste for FB but by and large, there are a billion FB users who disagree (not sure about the Google + numbers). Perhaps it’s simply “daring to be different” that will set it apart and make it attractive to a smaller community. Who can say? I also wish it well which is part of the reason I returned.

  2. MyOpera has italics. Vivaldi.net has italics. Facebook does not have italics. I can’t live without italics.

Case closed as far as I’m concerned.
